Comment by rushfan4 7 months ago rushfan4 is very familiar with this album. Magnificent Non-Prog Rock! Artistic, Modern, Pop, Male-Clean-Vocals This is a compilation of songs from the Police frontman's solo career. I believe that Sting is generally labeled as adult contemporary or easy listening but I find his music to be much better than that of artists that are generally labelled as such. There appears to be various versions of this compilation album. My version has only 14 songs and includes Fortress Around Your Heart and Be Still My Beating Heart, and it does not include the 5 songs that I have marked as bonus. The track listing is slightly different as well. As will most compilation albums, this is a good retrospective of Sting's solo career. There are other songs that I might have included and some that I might not have included but overall it is a good representation of his career. This also includes 2 new songs which I believe were first released on this album When We Dance and The Cowboy Song. |
