Time_Signature has listened to this a couple of times. Excellent Non-Prog Metal! Concept, Melodic, Hardcore, Rock-'n'-Roll, Nu-Metal, Melancholic, Male-Clean-Vocals, Male-Melodic-Shouting Volbeat carryy on their brand of "metal 'n' roll" on "Guitar Gansters and Cadillac Blood", which does not offer any noteworthy changes from the predecessor, but of course, if it ain't broke, why fix it? The album is a concept album of sorts, as seven songs evolve lyrically about the goings on in "10 House City". While most of the songs are mostly hardcore-ish, som of them contain some really earrippong old school thrash metal riffs. |
